I’m just crazy about balsamic vinegar. I can’t get enough of the stuff and if you find a brand that you really like, you can drizzle it over just about anything. Even ice cream!
I was told it was created by Italians to offset the sweetness of their gelato.
This blushing peach is my absolute favorite. Pair it with fresh basil extra virgin olive oil and it’s a heavenly combo.

A simple and fresh salad seems even fresher with great olive oil! And we’ve got to savor the garden’s bounty at this time of year.
* I have been away from blogging for over a month due to some health problems which seem to finally be improving. It started with some abnormal blood work at my regular 6 month check up. Six months because I take a statin drug to control cholesterol. After many more blood tests, a Cat scan, visits to a specialist and an MRI…….fingers crossed and lots of prayers I am starting to feel better! Praise God!
I did manage to get some things done. Mostly small projects and I hope to be sharing them real soon.
